We strive to save the construction industry hundreds of millions of dollars in unnecessary expenses by identifying potential issues as they occur in real-time. Our solution helps clients easily share information with key project stakeholders and better record, organize and retrieve key project information when they need it most.
Scott is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of the company’s growth strategy, and focuses on building strategic partnerships, expanding the product roadmap, and supporting the company’s customer community.
Prior to co-founding Floorcloud®, Scott was North American Director of Marketing & Business Development for Bostik, a global leader in the development of installation solutions for the construction industry. During his 16 years with Bostik, Scott lead new product ideation, and commercialization activities, founded the consumer products group, and played an integral role in the company’s strategic acquisitions.
Scott’s goal with Floorcloud® is to render obsolete the old adage that “flooring is 3% of the budget and 30% of the problems” by better connecting installers and manufacturers to help improve outcomes.
Scott holds a B.S. in Marketing from Bentley University, an MBA from Northeastern University, a Certificate in Sustainable Design from the Boston Architectural College and is a former LEED Accredited Professional.
Patrick is responsible for overseeing the Floorcloud® user experience, feature enhancements, and new customer acquisition. Patrick understands the world of the flooring contractor as well as anyone in the industry. He built his reputation on providing a level of customer service few can match.
Prior to co-founding and launching Floorcloud®, Patrick was the Founder & President of CMP Cements Inc., a developer and manufacturer of specialty floor preparation products sold within the United States. After 20 years of successful growth, Patrick sold CMP to Bostik and helped ensure its successful integration and expansion across North America.
As a former owner of an installation materials manufacturing company, Patrick knows first-hand the complications, expenses and strained relationships associated with jobsite installation failures. Patrick’s mission with Floorcloud® is to bring the industry a simple solution that better connects those using flooring materials on jobsites daily with the companies that manufacture them to improve outcomes for all stakeholders.
Patrick maintains his thirst for entrepreneurship through private equity investments in a variety of industries from landscaping services, software and innovative construction tools.
Ethan is responsible for overseeing the company’s legal, compliance, and risk management functions. Ethan sees Floorcloud®’s use of real-time data integration as a transformative innovation for flooring installation that will help drive successful outcomes for contractors and manufacturers alike.
Ethan has spent more than 25 years advising and innovating with executive teams at software technology companies across various industries. Previously he was part of the executive team and in-house General Counsel at two SaaS platform technology companies, each were strategic acquisitions of a public company.
He got his start in private practice, including heading the corporate practice at a Boston-based law firm, advising numerous start-up technology companies from formation, through investment rounds and growth, and successful sales and exits.
Ethan holds an AB in Biology from Brown University and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Mark serves on the Floorcloud® Board of Advisors and provides guidance on overall business strategy, strategic partnerships, and innovation enabled by technology platforms.
Mark’s effort with Floorcloud® is focused on the positive impact that jobsite quality management tools have on the productivity and outcomes achieved by flooring craft workers and labor leaders. He is committed to elevating flooring industry professionals and believes Floorcloud® provides a unique technology solution.
Mark is currently the President & CEO of Starnet Worldwide, the leading commercial flooring partnership in North America. Mark brings 27 years of commercial flooring industry experience to his advisory role. Since joining Johnsonite in 1995, he progressed through positions increasing in responsibility, having assumed senior sales and marketing as well as executive level positions within both Tarkett and the Mohawk Group.
Mark holds a BS in Business Administration from Hiram College.
Paul serves on the Floorcloud® Board of Advisors and provides expertise related to flooring installation products, equipment, methods, and industry standards. His involvement with Floorcloud® is to help ensure the software and sensor hardware experience meets the practical requirements of the professional flooring, skilled-trades user community.
Having spent 44 years in the New York and New Jersey flooring market, his insight and leadership have contributed value to some of the most exclusive and expensive commercial real estate properties in the world.
Prior to joining Floorcloud®, Paul was a Project Manager for the specialized subfloor engineering and leveling teams at Consolidated Carpet in New York City. Paul was a member of the New York City District Council of Carpenters-Local 2287 for 26 years. He holds installation certification recognition from many of the largest flooring manufacturers and has executed countless, multi-million dollar projects.
Robert serves on the Floorcloud® Board of Advisors and provides guidance on installation methods and training today’s contractor community. Robert and Floorcloud® share the same vision of professionalizing the flooring trade, to not only help attract new talent, but to elevate the quality of work performed.
Robert is currently the Founder, President and CEO of “UNITE” The International Floor Covering Training Alliance. He is the provider of vision, voice, and operational oversight for the association which advocates for professional installation training organizations throughout the world.
He started his flooring career as a commercial flooring installer and expanded his expertise into inspection, training, consulting, speaking, and writing, in addition to running a commercial workroom. With over 40 years in the flooring industry, Robert brings a unique perspective to the trade and Floorcloud® team.
